As per the current price this is the cheapest ZEN 4 based desktop processor. Its actually debuted in china but AMD presents it as a global CPU. So we may get the glimpse of new CPU in our countries very soon. Ryzen 7000 received many performance and power efficiency features but still its not able to compete to intel 13th gen.

Ryzen 5 7500F is a Zen 4 based 6 core processor with a base clock of 3.70 GHz and a maximum boost clock of up to 5.0 GHz. It features 6MB of L2 cache and 32MB of L3 cache in total. Memory supports DDR5 and officially supporting 5200 MHz, It can certainly handle much higher data transfer rates. The processor is rated for a 65W TDP and will operate on maximum temperature of 95 degree.

This Processor will only run on new AM5 socket and at the time of writing this article its not cheap atleast compared to AM4 at its time. But Am4 also has reached to its limit and need upgrade. As its an 'F' Series processor so it doesn't come with integrated GPU, so you need to buy a dedicated GPU even for display purpose. It comes with 28 x PCIe 5.0 lanes and support for a fully-fledged high-performance PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 SSD.

For its intel counterpart we can compare it with intel i5 13490F since this also comes with no iGPU and comes under $200 USD (Newegg price). However, there are notable differences between the two.

In Terms of gaming performance, it is doing better than its competitor processor like 13500 or 13400. So as per the benchmark its a better choice for gamers who are planning to build a new rig with latest and cheap components. You may have to wait a little more as its currently only available in few countries.
